This version is tricky and
it is important for you to work quickly. Form into balls only what can be accommodated
in the oven. Keep the rest in the freezer. Baked them immediately and you will
be able to make crinkles that are crispy on the outside and chewy on the
inside.
Thing you need:
120 grams of unsweetened
baking chocolate, melted
½ cup corn oil or melted
butter
2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups sifted all-purpose
flour
4 whole eggs
2 teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
1 cup sifted powdered sugar
or confectioners’ sugar for tolling
Procedure
1. Using a wooden spoon beat together the sugar,
corn oil, melted chocolate and vanilla. Add the eggs one at a time, beating
well after each addition.
2. Mix the flour
baking powder and salt.
3. Freeze the
mixture for at least an hour or until it became firm and easy to handle
4. Preheat oven to
350 degrees.
5. Line the cookie
sheet with an aluminum foil, the shiny side down. Baking paper can also be
used.
6. Form the batter
into a ball. Roll in powdered sugar and arrange it on the cookie sheet leaving
2 inches space in between the cookies.
7. Bake the
cookies immediately for 10 to 12 minutes or until the surface of the cookies
have cracked.
8. Allow the
cookies to cool down and transfer them to a wax paper lined cooling racks.
