Brownies with Walnuts

This is one of the popular recipes since brownies were the range during the early nineties. From the original rectangular baking pan, we can use also an 8-inche square pan to bake so that it will also have an impressive height.

Things you need:

1 cup butter
120 grams of unsweetened baking chocolate or cocoa
2 cups granulated white sugar
4 eggs
1 tablespoon light corn syrup
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 cup sifter all-purpose flour
1 tsp. sifted baking powder
½ tsp. fine salt
1/3 cup finely chopped walnuts

Procedure:

1.   Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Line your pan with wax paper and set aside.
2. In a saucepan, melt the butter and the chocolate together in a low heat. Stir continuously with a wooden spoon or a spatula. Transfer the mixture to a mixing bowl and allow it to cool down.
3. After it is cooled. Add the sugar, the corn syrup and the vanilla extract to the melted chocolate.  Beat it with a wooden spoon until well blended.
4. Add the eggs one at a time and mix. Add the flour, baking powder and the salt. Mix well until all combined.
5. Transfer your brownie mixture into the pan. Place the chopped walnuts into the surface of the brownie.
6. Place it on the oven and baked for 55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
7.  Allow the brownie to cool down and removed it on the pan. It is now ready to serve.
